He is a weird, weird cat, who is more like a mixture of a monkey, a child and the devil. He is all over at the same time. All who visit us will get a pal on their shoulder, and those with long hair need to be aware, as Sandy likes to eat it.. Don't ask. He is strange :) He is the first one to meet you at the door, and after that he is stuck on you like a glue. Sits on the shoulder in the toilet, sleeps on my face during the night, plays with the dogs, steels people's food from the pan, joins you in the shower, follows you everywhere and participates in everything, whether you liked it or not.

M E L K E R : Ch. Melkíor sleggja*IS -Sealpoint-white Bicolor, neutered Cornish rex -male- aka: 'Melker', 'Melkis', 'Monkey' Sire: Yas-53 Yam Yam Melker joined our crazy cat -crew in the beginning of 2009. As Sandy, he has also lived previously at the prestigious Änglarna's cattery before joining our zoo here at Bedarra. Though originally Melker is from Iceland. Melker has sired several litters before he was neutered in December-08. Before he arrived to us, Frida from S*Änglarna's tried to describe to us how Melker is, so she said that 'he is like Sandy, but only 100 times worse'.. And yes, I still wanted to have him! Though no-one can beat Melker in the length of legs; he is like a gigantic spider! And with his loooong legs he can jump anywhere without any problems.. Not always a good quality :) | |
K I N K K U : S*Amsirac's Dolmio -cornish rex, blacksmoke/white male- Aka: Velmu, Skinka Kinkku has a character of a teddybear, he clings to people like a burr (and to dogs as well). He is like a little baby, would only like to sit in someone´s lap. He could spend hours & hours just hugging and kissing, until Kerttu want´s to play with him.. In only a few seconds, these two turn our house into a racetrack and the poor dogs try to stay out of their way... He is not like a cat at all, he is much more like a dog. We have now realized that he must think that he is a siberian husky! He hangs out with the huskies, especially Sissel (it must be the similar colour and the pointy ears) so he probably thinks he is some long lost son of hers. He also loved to play with the huskypuppies, and then he tried to mate them..and then their mom.. What´s wrong with our cats?! Needless to say, Kinkku is now neutered... |  |
K E R T T U : Kerttu-Orvokki Aka: Kepa, Kepsu, Kerttu-O, Kerttu-OhNo, Kertsa Kerttu-Orvokki moved to us from kennel Qliz, when we were told that we also need one "real" cat...Well, this little beast has taken the boys by storm, showing them right away who´s in charge and who´s not.. Obviously, Kerttu-Orvokki belongs to the first-mentioned group.. She is a real beast; she likes to eat all sorts of stuff, like dog food, pasta, meatballs, pineapple, carrots, broccoli, you name it, she eats it. The boys sit and look at her eating habits with a horror on their faces, those fancypants can only eat few selected brands of catfood (the most expensive -ones) and that´s it.. A while ago one poor mouse had chosen our house as it´s new hotel. It had found its way to the living room, and naturally the cats saw it.. While the boys were looking like they´d want to jump up to a chair and scream "MOUSE!" as loud as they could; Kerttu, 3 months, took care of it in a flash. Well, girl´s gotta do what a girl´s gotta do, right? GIRL POWER! |  |
