Chanel comes (surprise, surprise) from Spain and is of bloodlines that we are very familiar and satisfied with.
She has the same father as our Hank has: 'Alex', Karnovanda's Alexander Wolf, and her mother is Kristari's Miss Fire O'Tahluu, who is also the mother of 'Pena', Kristari's Firelitbychipsahoy; the father of our 'Colour -litter'.
So, she will fit in our breeding program like a glove!
When we saw her in Spain we knew immediately that this is a bitch with something special, this one we wanted to have in our pack! At the moment it wasn't possible, but eventually things turned out so that we were able to have her; it was clearly meant to be :)
Prior to her arrival to Bedarra, she has already been shown a bit. She has several BOB-puppy wins from Spain and Portugal. She has also won puppy groups in both countries, been placed in BIS-puppy competition in Spain and went BIS-PUPPY in an international show in Portugal! She has started her show career here in the Nordics in a great way; she has been best bitch in most of the shows she has been at, loosing most often to our Espen in the BOB-ring. Those times that she hasn't met him in the BOB ring, she has went BOB. She has also gone 2nd in group and has also won the group + went BIS-2 in Norway!
She gained her Norwegian Champion title within a week and became DK Ch. 2 weeks after that. She is also Norwegian Winner-08, Finnish Winner-08 and Swedish Winner-09.
She has also had a litter with Innisfree's Muktuk Marsten which gave some very nice puppies.. One example being our Duque, Zenko de Ciukci! More info about Duque [here]
At Bedarra, she is the mother of our BAD-litter, sired by our Espen. These puppies have just entered the rings and some of them have already won BIS-puppy in different shows.
This lady will certainly live up to her name, as she is like true high fashion; flashy and eye-catching! You will surely notice this chic chick in the rings!
